Applying Venetian plaster by hand
Darko Ponjiger

A craft Darko lives and breathes

Darko brings the original Italian art of Venetian plaster and stucco to homes across Canterbury. European trained, he has spent 25 years perfecting these handmade finishes on prestigious developments and hotels in Western Europe and New Zealand.

He is also a certified trainer, qualified through the Oikos Academy in Italy, and shares his techniques with other applicators. Every wall he creates for you carries that same level of skill and care.

Through Wall Decor Limited, Darko leads every decorative job himself, from the first sample board to the final polish.

Oikos Academy certificate of attendance: Darko Ponjiger obtained the qualification of Deco Paint Trainer, Gatteo Mare, Italy, 2021

  • A sample first. You see your finish and colour in your own light before we start.
  • Preparation done properly. A beautiful finish depends on the surface underneath.
  • Clear communication. You'll know what's happening and when.
  • Workmanship warranty. Our workmanship is covered, and we give you simple care advice.
